- Tonight's the night! The 2010 Upward Soccer Awards Celebration starts at 7pm at the Jerry B. Stark Auditorium in Carl Junction. It's free for everyone--bring your family and celebrate a great season with your kids. Our guest entertainer is illusionist Mike Bliss. It's going to be awesome, so don't miss out!

- Due to field conditions, and the forecast of more rain, tomorrows games are cancelled. Don't forget the awards ceremony is Monday night at 7 at the Jerry B Stark auditorium. Kids wear their jerseys, and sit with their teams. All kids will receive an award.

- The schedule for makeup games is now posted on the website. Visit the link below to view only makeup games or view them as part of your team's season schedule via the standard game schedule application. A flyer will be handed out this Saturday with the makeup game schedule as well.

- Next week during practices (week of April 12th), we'll be taking our team pictures! Please have your kids wear their uniforms. (blue side) Pricing and more information will be available Saturday at the games!

- Reminder for the REFS! - Tonight (Thursday March 25th) is our final refs training. Please try to attend. If you aren't able to make it, please let me know so I can arrange to meet with you individually. (brian@cjupward.org)

- We will still have Thursday night practices!!!! They will be held indoors, and we'll be covering game rules, field layout, and our normal devotions and memory cards. REMINDER! - This week is our first Game week (weather permitting).

- All Monday and Tuesday evening practices will be held indoors! We'll be covering the rules of Upward Soccer, reviewing some of the things from the last two practices, and going over our weekly devotions. Reminder: The first games are on Saturday March 27th!

- Upward is now full swing! What an awesome thing to see all those kids back at the fields!!!! Volunteer Refs are needed!!!! Trainings will be held March 21st and 23rd at 7:00pm. Pick a date, and come join us!!!!!

- The coaches have officially been emailed their Rosters! That means all you players should be getting calls from your coaches this week!!!! Week 1 Practices are next week. And due to daylight savings, all week 1 practices will be at 5:30. I can't wait to see you all at the fields!!!!

- Evaluations are going on this week! And this is your last week to sign up! Sign up and be evaluated at Carl Junction Christian Church: Tuesday, February 2nd - 5:30pm - 8:30pm and Thursday, February 4th - 5:30pm-8:30pm

- CJ Upward will be at Randy's Drive-In in Carl Junction tomorrow from 11am to 2pm to register kids for this season. Anyone wanting to help out with registration should contact Kelly Ross.

- There's only one week left in early registration for the 2010 Upward soccer season! Register now and the cost is only $55 per child. Starting next Saturday, January 23, registration will be $65 per child. The final deadline is February 4.
